A big-city boy and a farmer’s daughter … We moved our kids to a rural acreage 20+ years ago. Our farming odyssey began with fresh summer vegetables and sun-ripened strawberries on our table.  In 1996 we sold our first bag of lettuce locally and in 2000 we joined the Downtown Farmers Market, Inc. (now dba Falls Park Farmers Market) in Sioux Falls, SD. We are now highly involved with marketing the Falls Park Farmer's Market through both old and new media styles. Growing naturally all those years, in 2003 we took the plunge and became Certified Organic. Now we have a new quest …

Nutrient Density. Feed the soil. Feed the billions of livestock i.e. microbes, etc., in that soil and our vegetables will gain in flavor, natural vitamins and minerals, and provide life-giving forces to the humans that eat them.
